Born out of two peoples love for motorcycles, DRS MAX Racing, came together in 2022 when its two founders came together.

Having known each other for nearly 30 years, Dave & Lucie got together in June, 2022. Both having unrealised visions of what they wanted to do, with motorcycles, in business and in life…. they realised very quickly that this venture was a must…. and DRS MAX Racing was born.

Anyone who knows Lucie, knows that she doesn't go to 11 she starts at 11, in everything she does she is 'To-The-Max' Her lifelong fascination for everything Speed, Power and Performance coupled with this personality and the need for achieving the impossible meant that Land Speed Racing was a hobby, then a passion, then her entire life and goal. Upon its unveiling in 1999 Lucie set up and managed the World Wide Suzuki Hayabusa Owners Club, 'to-the-max' Responsible for the design and build of three Max Machines, from 2 Suzuki Hayabusa Engined Machines [Max] 1300cc Turbo/Nitrous to [Maxx] 1500cc Huge Turbo then onto [Maxxx] the 1800bhp Jet Engine. Lucie's 'Max' concept has successfully worked with a large array of sponsors, including: Michelin, Tetrosyl, BAE Systems, Maxton, Harris, Aerosports, Dymag, Talon, JMC, Carnells, Cometic etc. Lucie, being Dave's noisy neighbour with a dyno and shared interest meant that he fast became a part of the Max Team.Having lost contact due to Lucie moving away they were reunited in 2022, when Lucie needed a head gasket for Max, and when Dave dropped his track bike and Lucie caught it, he was instantly smitten (lol) they started their ongoing argument over what was best - Circuit racing or Drag racing …. and the rest is history.
Every aspect of Dave's life has always been all aspects of Motorcycles, being involved in Motorcycles and competition across all disciplines, Dave finally decided to do what he loved for a living and set up DRS as Drop Raised Services back in 2002, providing Sales, Service, Repair and MOT of Motorcycles, along with an ingenious method personalising a Motorcycle to its rider. Largely developing an untapped aspect of motorcycling. Taking his Engineering background and knowledge of Motorcycle suspension and set -up and offering customers a way of truly becoming one with their machines.
